Based on our corporate vision, "Empower Data, Innovate the Business, Shape the Future", WingArc1st believes that maximizing the performance of each and every individualunfettered by region, age, gender or racethrough the sharing and utilization of data will lead to overcoming of social issues.
The Group's vision for sustainability is to create a regenerative system that empowers people and organizations, builds a data-driven society, and creates a better society overall.
Promoting Sustainability
In April 2018, WingArc1st established its Sustainability Committee to maximize the effects of its sustainability activities by developing a shared understanding between management and all employees.
The Committee is chaired by the Officer in Charge of Sustainability, and is comprised of the President, the Executive Officer in charge of finance, the Executive Officer in charge of technology, and the Executive Officer in charge of marketing. The Sustainability Committee holds monthly meetings to share trends in sustainability and discuss the status of the Group's efforts to address the expectations of stakeholders.

Materiality Assessment Process
Under our corporate vision, "Empower Data, Innovate the Business, Shape the Future", WingArc1st carries out sustainability activities in line with ISO26000, an international guideline about the social responsibilities of corporations. To maximize the impact of our activities, we identify material issues to prioritize using the following process and conduct activities that are in line with these material issues.
- We identify issues relevant to our company from the globally important items recognized by ISO26000 and ESG rating agencies.
- We identify the risks and expectations important to our stakeholders from internal and external information concerning our corporate activities.
- We consult with each division, with the Sustainability Committee at the center, to select items (in view of opportunities and risks) important for our businesses.
- Based on the results of this process, the Sustainability Committee sorts the selected items based on their importance to stakeholders and their importance to our businesses. We then identify the issues where we must further strengthen our initiatives and issues that we must prioritize in future efforts.
(Indispensable during this process are the initiatives we must take as a corporation to comply with laws and regulations. We also consider the relevance to our business and our business strategy.)
The priorities we identify will be positioned as a comprehensive sustainability strategy that cover the following: responsibilities in the workplace, responsibilities concerning our supply chain and products, responsibilities to society and responsibilities to the environment.
